KUPPET was founded as both a trade union and professional organization, to unite all Post-primary teachers of Kenya and look after their welfare and professional interests. In the process the KUPPET also promotes educational development generally, and the teaching profession, in particular

Advocacy and Representation

We champion the interests of post-primary teachers and trainers through active engagement with policymakers and education stakeholders, we work to secure fair remuneration, safe working conditions, and equitable policies that benefit both educators and learners

Collective Bargaining

We negotiate on behalf of our members to achieve better salaries and allowances and better working conditions. KUPPET ensures that teachers have a strong, unified voice at the bargaining table, resulting in meaningful improvements in their environments

Community Building

We foster a sense of solidarity and community among teachers and trainers in Post-primary teachers. Through sports activities, networking opportunities, and conferences and seminars, we create spaces for teachers to connect, share experiences, and support one another
